Dr Matthias is a Dentist with a BSc in Biology from the University of Western Ontario (1991) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Toronto (1995). She is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), the London and District Dental Society (LDDS), and the London Premier Dental Study Club. Tonya regularly pursues continuing education across all areas of general dentistry to maintain and expand her clinical expertise.

Drawn to healthcare from an early age, Dr Matthias discovered her passion for dentistry through a love of crafts and working with her hands. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and patient-centered approach, she is valued by colleagues and clients alike for her personable manner and gentle touch. Patients especially appreciate her care and precision during procedures, such as administering local anesthetic, ensuring comfort and confidence at every visit.

Outside of the office, she enjoys hands-on projects and creative pursuits, finding balance in activities that nurture both her professional focus and personal fulfillment.
